林东精神康复医院位于贵阳市郊区，成立于上世纪九十年代，是贵州省内规模较大的综合性精神卫生机构之一。医院占地面积近百亩，绿化覆盖率高，设有急性治疗区、慢性康复区、心理治疗中心及职业康复工坊等功能区域。院内可收治各类精神障碍患者，包括精神分裂症、双相情感障碍、抑郁症、酒精所致精神障碍等。

Lindong Psychiatric Rehabilitation Hospital is located in the suburbs of Guiyang and was established in the 1990s. It is one of the largest comprehensive mental health institutions in Guizhou Province. Covering nearly 100 acres with a high percentage of green space, the hospital consists of several functional areas, including acute treatment wards, long-term rehabilitation wards, a psychological therapy center, and a vocational rehabilitation workshop. It admits patients with a wide range of mental disorders, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and alcohol-induced psychotic disorders.

 

作为省内少数能够长期收治病人的机构，林东医院承担着医疗、康复与社会再融入的多重职能。医院实行封闭与半开放管理相结合的模式，为不同康复阶段的患者提供个性化治疗方案。近年来，院方也在尝试引入艺术治疗、劳动疗法及心理辅导等多元化康复方式，希望帮助患者重建生活规律与社会功能。

As one of the few institutions in the province capable of providing long-term inpatient care, Lindong Hospital plays multiple roles in medical treatment, rehabilitation, and social reintegration. The hospital combines closed and semi-open management models to accommodate patients at different stages of recovery and provides individualized treatment plans. In recent years, it has also introduced diverse rehabilitation programs, such as art therapy, occupational therapy, and psychological counseling, to help patients rebuild daily routines and regain social functioning.

尽管硬件条件有限，林东医院在本地精神卫生体系中仍发挥着基础性作用。许多来自贵州各地的患者在这里接受长期治疗，部分人甚至在此生活多年。对于他们而言，这里既是治疗的场所，也是某种意义上的“第二个家”。

Although its facilities remain modest, Lindong Hospital serves as a cornerstone of the local mental health care system. Many patients from across Guizhou receive long-term treatment here—some have even lived in the hospital for years. For them, this place is not only a site of treatment but, in many ways, a “second home.”
